- In Italy, Roma equal a Serie A record with their tenth consecutive victory as a Simone Perrotta goal seals a 1-0 win against Empoli at the Stadio Olimpico. The ten-in-a-row feat has also been achieved by Juventus (1931-32), AC Milan (1950-51) and Bologna (1963-64). Roma have the chance to break the record in next weekend’s derby with Lazio.
